Design:
The Poco X8 Pro measures 157.5 x 75.2 x 8.4mm and weighs 201.5g. It uses a Gorilla Glass 7i front with Mohs level 5 hardness and an aluminium frame. It carries both IP68 and IP69K dust and water resistance, with IP68 covering immersion up to 1.5 metres for 30 minutes and IP69K adding high-pressure water jet resistance (market-and region-dependent). Available in black, white, mint green, and yellow.
Display:
The 6.59-inch AMOLED runs at 120Hz with 2,000 nits in high brightness mode and 3,500 nits peak, plus an industry-leading 3840Hz PWM dimming, Dolby Vision, and HDR10+. Resolution is 1268 x 2756 (19.5:9) at roughly 460 ppi, with an 89.8% screen-to-body ratio. It is protected by Corning Gorilla Glass 7i at a Mohs level of 5.
Camera:
The rear system is a dual array: a 50MP wide with a bright f/1.5 aperture, a 1/1.95-inch sensor, PDAF, and OIS, plus an 8MP ultrawide. Video reaches 4K at 30/60 fps and slow motion up to 960 fps at 1080p, with HDR10+ and gyro-EIS. The 20MP front camera shoots 1080p at 30/60 fps. Note there is no telephoto lens.
Performance:
The MediaTek Dimensity 8500 Ultra (4nm) uses an octa-core all-Cortex-A725 CPU (1x3.4GHz + 3x3.2GHz + 4x2.2GHz) with the Mali-G720 MC8 GPU. Configurations are 8GB or 12GB RAM with 256GB or 512GB of fast UFS 4.1 storage. It runs Android 16 with HyperOS 3.
Connectivity:
Connectivity includes 5G; Wi-Fi 6 (dual-band, Wi-Fi Direct); Bluetooth 6.0 with aptX HD, LHDC 5, Auracast, and ASHA; an infrared blaster; and USB-C 2.0 with OTG. Positioning covers GPS (L1+L5), BeiDou, Galileo, QZSS, NavIC, and GLONASS. NFC is market- and region-dependent. There is no 3.5mm headphone jack and no FM radio.
Battery and Charging:
The 6,500mAh silicon-carbon (Si/C) battery supports 100W wired charging (100% in 48 minutes) with PD3.0 and 100W PPS, plus 27W reverse wired charging. There is no wireless charging. Confirm whether the 100W charger is included in the box at purchase.
