The Screen and Battery:
Two strengths for the price. The 6.78-inch IPS LCD runs a smooth 120Hz, so scrolling feels fluid even on a budget phone; it's 720p HD+, standard for the class and clear for video, WhatsApp, and browsing. And the 5200mAh battery comfortably lasts a full day and more of typical use, with fast charging to top up.
Performance and the Rest:
The Helio G81 is a capable budget chip, smooth for calls, messaging, social apps, and video, not heavy gaming. It comes with 4GB of physical RAM (expandable up to a further 4GB of virtual RAM borrowed from storage, advertised as up to 8GB) and 64GB storage, expandable by microSD. It runs Android 16 with Tecno's HiOS. A 13MP main camera and 8MP selfie cover everyday photos and video calls, and it's IP64 splash resistant. Dual SIM and a side fingerprint reader round it out.
