Samsung Galaxy Tab S12 Ultra in Kenya
The Samsung Galaxy Tab S12 Ultra price in Kenya is KES 197,000. It is the successor of the Galaxy Tab S11 Ultra, measuring 326.3 x 208.5 x 5.1 mm and weighing around 692-695g, made with an Enhanced Armor Aluminium body and a rare IP68 rating for a tablet. Users get a massive 14.6-inch AMOLED, the new Dimensity 9500 chip, S Pen support, and wireless DeX, and it comes in grey and silver.
Display:
The headline is the screen. A 14.6-inch Dynamic AMOLED 2X, essentially laptop-sized, with 120Hz, HDR10+, deep AMOLED blacks, and rich colour, is superb for films, multitasking two or three apps side by side, and creative work. Four speakers deliver full, immersive sound, making it a genuine portable cinema and a spacious canvas for productivity. IP68 water resistance is rare and welcome on a tablet this size.
Performance, DeX, and S Pen:
The MediaTek Dimensity 9500 (3nm) uses an octa-core CPU (1x4.21GHz C1-Ultra + 3x3.5GHz C1-Premium + 4x2.7GHz C1-Pro) with the Mali-G1 Ultra MC12 GPU. Configurations are 12GB RAM with 128GB, 256GB or 512GB, or 16GB RAM with 1TB. A dedicated microSDXC slot allows further expansion. It runs Android 16 with One UI 8.5.
Battery, Build, and Updates:
A huge 11600mAh battery comfortably powers the big screen through long sessions and multiple days of lighter use, charging at 45W (full in about 95 minutes). The Enhanced Armor Aluminium body is premium and slim at just 5.1mm. Software support is excellent: up to 7 major OS updates with One UI 9 on Android 17, keeping it current for years. It has Wi-Fi 7, Bluetooth 6.0, a magnetic connector for a keyboard case, and comes in Wi-Fi or 5G cellular versions. Note there's no NFC and no headphone jack.
