The Display and Media:
A superb screen. The 12.6-inch Dynamic AMOLED 2X runs at 120Hz with HDR10+, deep AMOLED blacks, and rich colour, excellent for films, multitasking apps side by side, and creative work, in a size that's big but easier to handle than the 14.6-inch Ultra. Four speakers deliver full, immersive sound, making it a proper portable cinema. IP68 water resistance is rare and welcome on a tablet this size.
Performance, DeX, and S Pen:
Built for real work. The new MediaTek Dimensity 9500 (3nm) is a flagship chip that handles heavy multitasking, demanding apps, and gaming with ease, with 12GB RAM, up to 512GB storage, and a dedicated microSD slot. Wireless Samsung DeX turns it into a desktop-like workspace with windows and a taskbar, and S Pen support makes it excellent for handwriting, sketching, and marking up documents, so it genuinely doubles as a laptop replacement for many tasks.
Battery, Build, and Updates:
A large 10600mAh battery comfortably powers the big screen through long sessions and multiple days of lighter use, charging at 45W (full in about 95 minutes). The Enhanced Armor Aluminium body is premium and slim at just 5.3mm. Software support is excellent: up to 7 major OS updates with One UI 9 on Android 17, keeping it current for years. It has Wi-Fi 6e, Bluetooth 6.0, a magnetic connector for a keyboard case, and comes in Wi-Fi or 5G cellular versions. Note there's no NFC and no headphone jack.
