Samsung Galaxy M08 in Kenya
The Samsung Galaxy M08 price in Kenya is KES 19,000 with a 1-year warranty. Galaxy M08 is an entry-level 4G phone measuring 167.4 x 77.4 x 8 mm and weighing 197g, with a 6.7-inch 90 Hz display, a big 6000mAh battery, and a 50 MP camera. It runs Android 17 with One UI 9 on the Helio G99+, comes in silver, and carries a 1-year warranty.
The Battery and Software:
Two strengths stand out. The 6000mAh battery comfortably lasts up to two days of light use, so you're rarely reaching for a charger, with 25W charging to top up. And, unusually for the price, the M08 gets up to 6 major OS updates with One UI 9 on Android 17, keeping it secure and current for years, a genuine Samsung advantage that budget rivals rarely match.
Performance and Camera:
The Helio G99+ is a capable budget chip, smooth for calls, messaging, social apps, browsing, and video, with 4GB RAM, 64GB storage, and a dedicated microSD slot (so you can expand storage and still use two SIMs). The camera is a 50MP main with an auxiliary lens and an 8MP selfie, fine for everyday snaps and video calls rather than photography; video is 1080p.
Display and Connectivity:
A large 6.7-inch PLS LCD at 90Hz, so scrolling is smoother than basic 60Hz phones; it's 720p HD+, standard for the class and clear for everyday use. It keeps practical features, a 3.5mm headphone jack, FM radio, and a side fingerprint reader, plus dual SIM. Note there's no NFC, so no contactless payments.
