The Essentials:
Built for affordable everyday use. The 6.6-inch IPS LCD runs a smooth 90Hz, which keeps scrolling fluid even on a budget phone; it's 720p HD+, clear for calls, WhatsApp, video, and browsing. Android 15 Go edition is a lightweight version of Android designed for entry-level hardware, so it keeps the 2GB of RAM feeling responsive for the basics. The 5000mAh battery comfortably lasts a full day and more of light use.
Performance, Durability, and the Rest:
The Unisoc T7100 with 2GB RAM handles calls, messaging, WhatsApp, and browsing, this is a basic phone, so it's not for heavy multitasking or gaming. Storage is 64GB, expandable by microSD. It has some ruggedness, 1.2m drop resistance and MIL-STD-810H testing (which, as itel notes, doesn't guarantee ruggedness in extreme conditions), and keeps practical features: a 3.5mm headphone jack, an infrared blaster for controlling appliances, a side fingerprint reader, and dual SIM. An 8MP main and 5MP selfie cover basic photos and video calls. Note there's no NFC.
