Infinix Hot 70 Pro in Kenya

The Infinix Hot 70 Pro price in Kenya is KES 32,000 with a 2-year warranty included. It is a well-equipped mid-range phone, combining a 6.76-inch display with a fast 144Hz refresh rate, the MediaTek Dimensity 7100 (6nm), IP68 water resistance rated to 2 metres for 30 minutes plus MIL-STD-810H compliance, a 50MP main camera, and up to a 6,000mAh battery with 45W charging. The Infinix Hot 70 is also the success of the previous Infinix Hot 60 Pro.

Who It's For:

  • Wired Audio and Storage Users: Built for Kenyan users who still use wired headphones and want expandable storage. The 3.5mm jack with Hi-Res audio and a dedicated microSD slot that does not cost you a SIM slot are both increasingly rare.
  • Tough-Conditions Users: Ideal for Kenyan users who work outdoors or are hard on their phones. IP68 rated to 2 metres, deeper than most, plus MIL-STD-810H compliance, offers real protection against rain, dust, and accidents.
  • Feature-Hungry Value Buyers: A strong choice for Kenyan buyers who want the longest feature list for their money. 144Hz, 5G, NFC, IR blaster, FM radio, stereo speakers, reverse and bypass charging, and six colours all at a mid-range price.

Design:

The Infinix Hot 70 Pro measures 166.9 x 79.5 x 7.9mm and weighs 204g. It carries an IP68 rating for immersion up to 2 metres for 30 minutes, deeper than the usual 1.5-metre standard, and is MIL-STD-810H compliant, with Infinix noting this does not guarantee ruggedness in extreme conditions. It comes in an unusually wide range of six colours: Thermo Orange, Mirage Green, Silk Glow Purple, Depth Ring White, Night Pulse, and Dive Blue.

Display:

The 6.76-inch IPS LCD runs at a fast 144Hz with 950 nits in high brightness mode. The resolution is 1080 x 2344 (20:9) at roughly 441 ppi, with an 83.2% screen-to-body ratio. As an LCD rather than an AMOLED panel, blacks are grey rather than true black and contrast is weaker, but sharpness and refresh rate are both strong for the price.

Camera:

The rear system is a single 50MP wide lens with f/1.8, a 1/1.95-inch sensor, and PDAF, plus an auxiliary lens. Features include dual-LED flash, HDR, and panorama. Video reaches 1440p at 30fps or 1080p at up to 60fps. The 8MP front camera also records 1440p. There is no ultrawide, no telephoto, and no 4K video.

Performance:

The MediaTek Dimensity 7100 (6nm) pairs four Cortex-A78 cores at 2.4GHz with four Cortex-A55 cores at 2.0GHz, alongside the Mali-G610 MC2 GPU. Configurations are 6GB or 8GB RAM with 128GB or 256GB of UFS 2.2 storage, expandable via a dedicated microSDXC slot. It runs Android 16 with XOS 16 and is promised up to 3 major Android upgrades.

Audio and Connectivity:

Audio includes stereo speakers, a 3.5mm headphone jack, and 24-bit/192kHz Hi-Res audio support. Connectivity covers 5G, Wi-Fi 5 (802.11ac, dual-band), Bluetooth 5.4, NFC, an infrared blaster, FM radio, and USB-C 2.0 with OTG. Positioning is via GPS. The fingerprint sensor is side-mounted.

Battery and Charging:

The battery is a 6,000mAh capacity. It supports 45W wired charging, 10W reverse wired charging, and bypass charging for cooler gaming. There is no wireless charging. Confirm your unit's battery capacity and whether the 45W charger is included at purchase.
